Job summary

JST Manufacturing is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to support the design and development of custom wet processing equipment in Meridian, Idaho. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer building a foundation in mechanical design and manufacturing while collaborating with an experienced team.

You will design mechanical and automation systems, prepare BOMs and manufacturing instructions, and help ensure on-time delivery and alignment with customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–1 years of engineering experience (internships welcome).
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D CAD design.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, plumbing diagrams, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and automation systems, including plumbing and tank systems.
• Support development of system specifications and update drawings as requirements evolve.
• Prepare final engineering drawings and approval layouts.
• Respond to manufacturing questions and verify products meet engineering specs.
