Job summary

The Chemico Group is seeking a Site Technician to provide on-site technical support at customer sites, conducting performance evaluations of materials and mechanical processes. You will perform analytical testing, identify problems, and recommend process improvements to maximize efficiency and material use.

You will engage with internal customers, maintain compliance with EHS standards, and present test findings with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, or biochemistry preferred.
• 2–4 years of previous experience in chemical management is recommended.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet research required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support including preventive maintenance, problem identification and resolution, and inventory management.
• Interfaces with internal customers on-site to create process efficiencies.
• Performs analytical testing on materials and evaluates mechanical processes for material utilization.
• Makes recommendations on material usage, concentrations, recycling, and product substitutions/selection.
• Communicates test findings and recommendations to management and customers.
