Job summary

Springs Window Fashions is seeking a Materials Manager in Edison, NJ (Mecho division). This onsite role leads materials planning, inventory control, and supplier coordination to ensure service levels while optimizing costs.

You will drive continuous improvement across the multi-plant network, mentor planners, and partner with procurement. A strong background in ERP/MRP, PFEP concepts, and Lean practices is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience within supply chain functions in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capability in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Direct Material Buyer/Planners’ activities to enable plant operation to meet customer expectations while optimizing inventory and freight.
• Drive adherence to system utilization to optimize MRP functionality and reporting tools.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, internal customers, and external suppliers.
• Control inventory levels; develop strategies to improve turns and PFEP alignment.
• Manage supplier performance in Power BI and collaborate with Procurement to improve performance.
