Job summary

Envita Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated Waste Materials Handler for our Tennessee facility. The role involves collecting, moving, sorting, and processing waste, while adhering to EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.

You will operate balers, shredders, grinders, and other equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow. A high school diploma and forklift experience are preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform collection, movement, sorting, and processing of wastes and by-products in a manufacturing facility.
• Ensure health & safety is the number one priority by following policies and procedures.
• Load and unload solid and liquid waste and recyclables safely in compliance with regulations.
• Move materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklift trucks, and other handling equipment.
• Operate equipment to process materials, including balers, shredders, grinders, extractors, pumps, tanks, and pressure washers.
• Sort materials based on pre-established guidelines for further processing.
• Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Apply knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
• Assume additional duties aligned with company values and skills.

• Perform collection, movement, sorting, and processing of all wastes and by-products in a fast‑paced manufacturing facility environment, safely and in accordance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ensure health & safety is the number one priority by following all policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Load and unload solid and liquid waste and recyclables safely, in compliance with regulations.
• Utilize hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklift trucks with attachments, and other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the facility.
• Operate equipment to process materials, including balers, shredders, grinders, extractors, pumps, tanks, and pressure washers, in a safe manner.
• Sort materials based on pre‑established guidelines for additional processing.
• Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Apply knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
• Assume additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, continually aligning with the company’s core values, competencies, and skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to work safely in a constant state of alertness.
• Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
• Understanding of general industry practices.
• Capability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
