Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Elyria, OH, is seeking a Material Flow Coordinator to support continuous material flow, reduce delays, and resolve shortages. The role requires coordinating material readiness, work-order flow, and cross-functional recovery actions to improve on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, understands material coordination and inventory control, and can work with planning, procurement, warehouse, production, quality, and shipping teams to move

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing, materials coordination, planning, or logistics.
Experience in an ERP/MRP-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of material flow, inventory control, and production support processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate material movement and work-order readiness to support continuous production flow.
Monitor and prioritize past due and at-risk customer orders.
Develop and manage recovery actions for overdue orders to improve delivery performance.
Identify and remove barriers causing waiting time between operations.
Ensure materials and subassemblies are available and staged per production priorities.
Review and resolve shortages and inventory discrepancies affecting order flow.
