Job summary

Dermalogica in Carson, CA is seeking a Master Data Intern to learn master data management across ERP (JDE), PIM, and Wrike. This internship offers hands-on experience with data quality, automation, and AI-enabled tools, with potential growth into a full-time Master Data Analyst role.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Creative teams, gain exposure to data governance, and contribute to documentation and process improvement. Onsite three days/week is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable with large spreadsheets; Excel proficiency required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work cross-functionally.
• Proactive, self-starter mindset; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn JD Edwards (JDE) and Wrike.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation, maintenance, and audit of master data records in JD Edwards (JDE).
• Help enforce data governance standards across platforms.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Creative to resolve data discrepancies.
• Identify manual data processes and support automation or scripting initiatives.
• Learn to use AI tools for data cleansing, deduplication, and anomaly detection.
• Document master data processes, governance rules, and automation logic.
• Track data quality metrics and flag issues affecting reporting.
• Assist in data migrations and system integrations to maintain integrity.
• Track and manage master data projects in Wrike.
