Job summary

Dermalogica LLC is seeking a Master Data Intern to learn master data management from the ground up and grow into a full-time Master Data Analyst role. You will help ensure data accuracy across ERP, PIM, and Wrike, and collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Creative teams.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and learning AI-enabled data tools. You must live locally and work onsite at our HQ three days per week; this is a firm requirement with no exceptions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a habit of double-checking work.
• Comfortable with large spreadsheets and datasets; proficiency in Excel required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work cross-functionally.
• Proactive, self-starter mindset with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• No prior ERP or project management software experience required — willingness to learn JD Edwards (JDE) and Wrike is a must.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation, maintenance, and audit of new and existing items and their BOM master records in JD Edwards (JDE).
• Help enforce data governance standards, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and consistent across all platforms.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and support new item/SKU setup in JDE.
• Assist in identifying manual data processes and support the design of automated workflows or scripts.
• Learn to use AI tools to support data cleansing, deduplication, classification, and anomaly detection at scale.
• Help build and maintain documentation for master data processes, governance rules, and automation logic.
• Track data quality metrics and flag issues before they impact reporting or operations.
• Support system integrations and data migrations, ensuring master data integrity.
• Track and manage master data projects and cross-functional requests in Wrike, keeping timelines and stakeholders organized.
