Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for our Ashaway, RI location. This full-time, contract-to-hire role focuses on performing manufacturing operations, supporting engineers in setup/calibration, and conducting quality testing on parts and final assemblies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with 0-3 years of related experience and IPC J-STD-001 solder certification, with strong computer skills and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
• IPC J-STD-001 solder certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations tasks, assist engineers in setup/calibration, and perform rework and quality testing.
• Collect and evaluate operating data to perform on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Mechanical assembly: proficient in building complex assemblies (electrical/optical components and harnesses).
• Programming assemblies using relevant software.
• Strong PC skills with Windows and Office.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering docs, drawings, or schematics.
