Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a fully onsite Grinding Technician to support setup, troubleshooting, and tooling orders for grinding operations. You will coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering on process improvements, perform first piece approvals, and operate precision measuring equipment in a compliance-driven environment.

Qualifications include a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to work in a matrix team. Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint is expected.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or equivalent related experience required.
• Green belt in 3 years preferred.
• Travel: Runoff of new or rebuilt equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a matrix and team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assigns work to S&O operator and Operator B personnel, instructing procedures and gaging methods.
• Assist in setups and troubleshooting on grinding equipment (grind wheel capabilities, speeds and feeds).
• Submit workorders for down equipment and help set priority; coordinate with Maintenance.
• Work with Engineering on process improvements including quick changeovers, standard work procedures, stock and cycle reductions.
• Assist in new part setups (machines and rates) and machine design and application with Engineering.
• Assist in management and order of grinding tooling (grinding wheels, diamonds, jaws, drivers, quills).
• Perform first piece approval per setup approval process.
• Operate precision measuring equipment.
• Adhere to Ethics, Safety, Export, Environmental and AS9100 standards.
