Job summary

Carrier is seeking an experienced Quality Technician Team Lead to support Air-Cooled manufacturing operations through direct oversight of shop-floor and outbound quality execution.

This role provides daily leadership, coordination, and technical guidance to Quality personnel, ensuring inspections, audits, and quality notifications are executed consistently and in alignment with approved standards. Strong emphasis on escape prevention and data integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing quality control or inspection.
• 2+ months of experience working onsite at a Carrier facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and work direction to quality Inspectors, Final Auditors, and related staff.
• Coordinate coverage and prioritize quality resources based on production risk and quality trends.
• Coach and mentor quality team members on inspection and audit expectations, escalation, and standard work.
• Oversee execution of in-process inspections and final audits to ensure compliance with work instructions and engineering specs.
• Oversee quality coverage for 3PL warehouse operations and supplier quality interfaces.
• Ensure quality records and documentation meet ISO 9001 requirements and data integrity standards.
