Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Quality/Manufacturing Engineer to supervise technicians, lead problem-solving teams, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree with 3+ years of experience in a Quality or Manufacturing Engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
• Or a High School Diploma / GED with 5+ years of experience in a Quality or Manufacturing Engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ASME Code and welding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly water-cooled quality technicians (both shifts).
• Lead problem-solving teams to analyze and resolve internal/external issues.
• Proactively identify & lead first pass yield improvement projects.
• Lead and/or participate in scrap reduction and process improvement projects with other functions.
• Participate in Design Reviews, PFMEA and Control Plan development and plan appropriate actions to reduce RPN.
• Proactively investigate ways to improve the process to reduce waste, scrap, and customer escapes.
• Track and Report Quality KPIs for the respective area.
• Organize and present data to management for decision making.
