Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and engineering operations on-site in Ogden, UT. You will ensure builds meet prints and regulatory requirements, blending shop-floor support with front-end engineering involvement, with potential for direct hire.

You will collaborate with design, planning, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive quality improvements and resolve issues for an industrial client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing quality and nonconformance management.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience supporting multiple workstreams with project management.
• Excellent communication with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Infor Visual preferred).
• U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve project plans, work instructions, POs, and nonconformances.
• Lead investigations and resolutions of shop-floor NCRs.
• Translate drawings into manufacturing and inspection requirements.
• Collaborate across welding, machining, assembly, and quality.
• Interface with customers to resolve quality issues.
• Support one large or multiple smaller projects.
• Execute quality activities: ballooning, FAI, IDC, Q-notes, reporting.
• Maintain documentation and drive continuous improvement.
