Job summary

HTC Global Services in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Program Engineer to lead new model launches at an onsite facility. You will manage cross-functional programs, drive issue resolution, monitor budgets and schedules, and report status and risks with data-driven insights.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of MS Office experience, plus 1+ year in Powertrain/Vehicle Operations or related program management. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years of experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• 2+ years of experience with problem-solving disciplines using statistical mindsets.
• 1+ years of experience in Powertrain/Vehicle Operations manufacturing, design, and/or program management, with project management or launch experience.
• Program management experience, including maintaining a list of issues and working with cross-functional teams to resolve them.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a gatekeeper for New Model Programs, ensuring processes and standards are followed.
• Manage pre-production build events to meet quality and efficiency objectives.
• Oversee ordering, building, testing, and disposition of pre-production vehicles.
• Execute the Pre-Production Drive Fleet Evaluation Plan.
• Lead change approval processes and ensure integration ahead of prototypes.
• Drive build issues resolution and timely closure with cross-functional teams.
• Co-chair launch meetings and resolve part support issues for each build event.
• Manage launch budget approval processes within the overall program budget.
• Prepare and present weekly assessments of new model programs and risks.
• Support senior management with status, challenges, and proposed solutions.
• Facilitate transition of launch teams into manufacturing plants.
