Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Production Supervisor in Lumberton, NC. This salaried exempt role leads day-to-day manufacturing and distribution operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy.

You will manage planning, material handling, and staffing while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The position requires supervising and coaching associates, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or transportation is preferred.
• Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is preferred.
• Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or manufacturing inventory system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and distribution activities to meet production and customer requirements.
• Review production and shipping schedules; determine labor, material, and equipment needs.
• Coordinate materials to support production goals and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Oversee safety, quality, and housekeeping; enforce company policies and procedures.
• Coach, train, and develop associates; manage performance and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to support workforce planning and development.
• Maintain accurate records of time, attendance, training, and production.
