Job summary

Ascentec Engineering LLC in Dallas, Oregon, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 1 to join our engineering team. You will focus on enhancing production quality, efficiency, and volume, with a proactive approach to project management, process development, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This on-site role requires leading projects, optimizing methods, collaborating across functions, documenting and testing processes, and supporting upgrades to production machinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects aligned with business goals.
• Optimize production methods, material flow, tooling, assembly methods, and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply new processes.
• Document, test, and evaluate processes and equipment for new products.
• Manage schedules, resources, and budgets for engineering projects.
• Develop strong relationships with internal teams, providing feedback and support for continuous improvement.
• Identify and address manufacturing challenges through root cause analysis and lean methods.
• Contribute to the design and installation of new production machinery and equipment upgrades.
• Support the development of standardized work methods and practices.
