Global Precision Manufacturing is seeking a hands-on Controller for the Mansfield area. This contract-to-hire role requires deep manufacturing accounting, inventory valuation, product costing, and strong leadership to oversee the accounting function and partner with the COO.

The ideal candidate will drive financial visibility across operations, ensure timely GAAP-compliant statements, and manage ERP/controls while supporting lean initiatives and ISO-related initiatives as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• 3–5+ years in a Controller/senior accounting leadership role.
• Hands-on with manufacturing accounting, inventory valuation, and product costing.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and performance reporting.
• Ability to analyze costs, inventory, and margins to support decisions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Hands-on while partnering with senior leadership and operations.

Aufgaben

• Oversee all accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closes with GAAP-compliant reports.
• Oversee inventory valuation, product costing, COGS, and cost analysis.
• Analyze inventory levels, margins, pricing, and variances to improve profitability.
• Partner with operations to strengthen inventory controls and costing methodologies.
• Maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial records.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and business projections with COO.
• Analyze variances and provide recommendations to management.
• Coordinate external audits and tax with outside CPA firm.
• Oversee ERP environment and drive process improvements.
• Lead accounting team and collaborate with operations for business goals.
• Communicate financial results, risks, and trends to senior management.
