Job summary

Fairgrove Property Management is seeking an Onsite Manager for one property of 49 units in Southern California. This part-time role is 25 hours per week, paying $25.00 per hour, with housing provided on-site.

Live-on-site housing is required to perform duties and ensure smooth resident service and leasing operations. The Onsite Manager will handle leasing, marketing, resident services, and turnover management, while coordinating with vendors and maintaining records in AppFolio.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of property management experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be willing to live onsite.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; AppFolio experience is a plus.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work weekends when needed.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for residents and vendors.
• Respond to emergencies, including after-hours issues.
• Handle leasing, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Show available units and market vacancies.
• Maintain resident and property records in AppFolio.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate unit turnovers.
• Keep the property clean and well-maintained, including light porter duties.
• Coordinate vendors and monitor completed work.
• Track vacancies, work orders, and other property performance metrics.
• Review and approve vendor invoices.
• Order property supplies and maintain inventory.
• Stay up to date on landlord-tenant and fair housing laws.
• Attend company meetings and training.

Job Summary

An Onsite Manager is responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day operations of the apartment community including leasing, marketing, resident services, and turn over management. An Onsite Manager must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with prospects, residents, vendors, and fellow employees always.

Part-Time: 25 hours per week

Property: Oversee one property of 49 units

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Housing: Discounted unit apartment available. Must live onsite.
