Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds as directed.
• Maintain carpentry tasks such as wallboard, countertops, cabinets, doors and tile repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool and other tasks.
• Keep work orders updated and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and facilities for safety and cleanliness and identify issues.
• Assist with emergencies such as snow, fires, and floods.
• Communicate with supervisor about maintenance issues.
• Promote safety and risk management per regulations.
• Participate in after-hours on-call maintenance and response times.
• Maintain professional demeanor and curb appeal when interacting with residents.
