Job summary

S27a in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and continuously improve facility systems, warehousing equipment, and building infrastructure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This 100% onsite role supports production and facility operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least four years of maintenance experience, and strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLCs, hydraulics and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical school or maintenance certification preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or related environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, welding, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment to minimize downtime.
• Install, set up, modify, relocate, and decommission production lines, equipment, and facility assets.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions using testing devices, meters, hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components, including motors, bearings, conveyors, pumps, valves, sensors, switches, and other production equipment parts.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities and accurately document work performed in maintenance logs or CMMS.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability, safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
