Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a plastics manufacturing environment in a fully onsite role in Chattanooga, TN. The position focuses on mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance to ensure smooth operation of equipment.

You will diagnose and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems, read blueprints, perform welding, and work with PLC controls for HVAC systems, collaborating with a small team. Excellent benefits and room for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Welding and PLC control experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform welding and work with PLC controls to maintain and repair HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with a smaller maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
