Job summary

The Liberty Group is actively seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for an immediate opportunity at a residential apartment community in Everett, MA. You will join an on-site maintenance team, handling day-to-day resident and property needs with a hands-on, dependable approach.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, troubleshooting basic plumbing/electrical issues, painting and drywall repairs, and maintaining common areas. Prior multifamily or hospitality maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting and general repairs.
• Apartment turnover experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an onsite team.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and service requests.
• Perform apartment turns and make-ready work.
• Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Perform painting, patching and drywall repairs.
• Complete minor carpentry and general property repairs.
• Troubleshoot appliances and assist with replacements.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain common areas and property grounds.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents.
• Assist the maintenance team with additional property projects as needed.
