Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic B to join our onsite team for setup, repair and ongoing maintenance of equipment and facilities.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant maintenance experience, and citizenship as required for site access. You will use blueprints and various tools to keep systems safe and running.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (e.g. G.E.D.) with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to necessary systems.
• Experience in a maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics for repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of electronic and electrical systems as they relate to repair and maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Set up, repair, and maintain equipment, building and grounds onsite.
• Read blueprints/schematics and use measuring instruments or equipment.
• Move materials, parts and tools as required.
• Assist with carpentry, painting, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, and masonry on equipment and facilities.
• Install and maintain wiring/conduit and test circuits for continuity.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report discrepancies.
