Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a skilled technician for onsite manufacturing roles in Haltom City, TX. You will follow blueprints, perform troubleshooting and calibration, and ensure components meet specifications.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 4 years of mechanical repair experience in aviation manufacturing or related industries; weekend/overtime availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience performing mechanic repairs, assembly or other technical capacities in aviation manufacturing or related industries.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and may require lift assist or buddy system.

Responsibilities

• Follows blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to meet product specifications and tolerances.
• Performs troubleshooting, calibrations or modifications of hardware, fixtures and software.
• Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify systems and components/assemblies.
• Maintains records of production and reports issues following standard procedures.
• Interprets data and records time changes, test data, parts usage.
• May train and mentor new technicians.
• May assist engineering with design of components and prototypes.
