Job summary

Weir Minerals U.S., Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician in St. Louis, MO. This onsite role runs 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime. You will maintain and repair plant equipment, including CNC machines and building systems, while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with a small maintenance team to drive continuous improvement and keep operations running smoothly in a sustainable mining technology environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with strong hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and repair.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an industrial maintenance or mechanic role within a plant setting.
• Proven experience performing maintenance on CNC machines.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including familiarity with 480V electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs: Perform quality, major, and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery inside the plant.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct morning PM routines on machines and building systems (50% PM, 50% repairs).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns, hydraulic/electrical/pneumatic issues, HVAC, plumbing.
