Job summary

Weir Minerals U.S., Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician- Electrical in Salt Lake City, UT. This onsite role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems, plus performing preventive maintenance on production equipment and conveyors.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams and utilize SAP CMMS to document activities. The ideal candidate has experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and

Qualifications

• Production maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with 480VAC electrical systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic/PLC systems.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs: troubleshooting, code edits, sensor maintenance.
• Strong computer skills: Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment including electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and daily repairs on production and auxiliary equipment.
• Lead Lean improvements and Kaizen activities to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and vendors for timely repairs and parts.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment history using SAP CMMS.
