Job summary

Weir in Phoenix is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to oversee preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment onsite. The role requires hands-on experience with CNC machines, presses, plasma tables, welding gear, and conveyors, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will document activities in CMMS, coordinate with contractors, and support shutdowns and parts inventories to keep production running smoothly. This is a day-shift, onsite position with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance in manufacturing, with mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain CNC machines, presses, plasma tables and welding equipment.
• Strong reading of blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Commitment to safety practices including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
• Manage external contractors and vendors for timely service.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS.
• Support equipment reliability projects and plant upgrades.
• Assist in shutdown planning and maintain spare parts inventories.
