Job summary

The Housing Commission of Anne Arundel County is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Supervisor in Severn, MD to manage routine and emergency maintenance for residential properties. Under the Asset Manager and Maintenance Manager, you will supervise technicians and contractors, plan repairs and turnover activities, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of journeyman level experience in building trades; HS diploma or GED; vocational training in carpentry/plumbing/W HVAC; plus 3–5 years relevant work experience.
• CFC Universal Certification is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine/preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.
• Supervise and inspect progress/quality of work by Technicians and contractors.
• Plan, execute and schedule repairs and routine/unit turnovers.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues.
• Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies.
