Job summary

HRU seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a battery assembly facility, onsite in a highly automated environment. The role supervises skilled trades, prioritizes maintenance, and coordinates with production leadership to optimize uptime and safety.

Ideal candidates bring extensive industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and proven leadership of mechanics and electricians in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant industrial maintenance or related manufacturing experience.
• Formal skilled-trades training or equivalent technical training.
• Experience leading maintenance personnel, including mechanics and electricians.
• Strong understanding of automated manufacturing equipment and industrial maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of hourly skilled-trades employees.
• Set maintenance priorities and allocate personnel per production needs.
• Coordinate with Production to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to identify failures and implement corrective actions.
• Balance repairs with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use CMMS to plan maintenance activities and document work orders.
• Coordinate availability of parts, tools, and materials with warehouse operations.
