Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist with maintenance at our community in Fort Worth, TX. The role covers routine, preventive, cosmetic maintenance and make-ready tasks under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Responsibilities include daily onsite presence, grounds and common area upkeep, timely response to resident and management requests, and adherence to safety and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance – Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and all interior and exterior common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Ensure all repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas are completed promptly.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the community and minimize future repairs.
