Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, seeks a Lowband Software Support Engineer (Onsite) at Fort Meade, MD to support the US Air Force DCGS DSFS. You will manage SIGINT sensors, troubleshoot, and perform mission readiness tasks in a security-cleared environment.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570.1 IAT II/IAM I certification, and DCGS/COMINT experience. Onsite duties include incident response, network maintenance, and coordination with engineers.

Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI clearance required before start.
• DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification required (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, CAP).
• 7 years of DCGS experience minimum.
• At least 2 years of COMINT experience and 7 years of Information System Security Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple airborne sensor processes and interface with sensors, sites, networks, and systems.
• Provide updates to sensor resources management and ground support for SIGINT sensors and networks.
• Troubleshoot sensors and recommend software/hardware updates; support incident tickets.
• Ensure system readiness and perform pre-mission SIGINT tasks; document issues and assist users.
