Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks an onsite Lowband Journeyman at Fort Meade, MD to support USAF DCGS/DSFS. You will manage multiple SIGINT sensors, troubleshoot networks, and provide real-time support to pilots and operators.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570.1 IAT II/IAM I, and 7+ years in DCGS/COMINT with STEM education; relocation assistance may be available and onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Current DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, CAP, etc.).
• 7 years prior relevant DCGS experience.
• ≥2 yrs of COMINT experience.
• ≥7 years of Information System Security Management experience.
• Typically requires a degree in STEM and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple airborne sensors’ processes to operate and interface with sensors, sites, networks, and systems.
• Provides updates to sensor resources management processes.
• Provides management and ground support of multiple airborne SIGINT sensors and networks.
• Provides sensor troubleshooting and recommends updates to SW and networks.
• Provides SIGINT process and network improvements/recommendations.
• Monitors network connections between SIGINT sensors and ground equipment.
• Performs SIGINT and networks data input for mission templates.
• Provides real-time SIGINT and networks assistance to pilots, maintainers, operators and users.
