Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Ability to perform basic engineering design calculations and analyses.
• Familiarity with the engineering design lifecycle from concept to operation.
• Commitment to environmental, health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes data and performs engineering calculations for basic designs.
• Develops and documents basic engineering design solutions.
• Provides technical direction to draftspeople and technicians.
• Participates in procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing and operation.
• Assists in cost estimates and budget monitoring.
• Proposes resources under supervisor review to meet specs and cost/time constraints.
• Serves on safety panels and review committees as assigned.
• May participate in technical conferences and publications.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
