Job summary

HEARTLAND BUSINESS SYSTEMS LLC is seeking an onsite lead for physical security and low-voltage projects in the Wisconsin area. Qualifications

3-5+ years experience with Access Control, Surveillance, and/or Low Voltage Cabling systems and associated hardware/software
Proven ability to lead onsite teams and coordinate field activities
Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

Lead onsite execution for physical security and low-voltage projects.
Direct and coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
Review project scope, drawings, schedules, and installation plans to ensure efficient execution.
Serve as primary onsite point of coordination with customers, contractors, and other trades.
Ensure work meets quality standards, safety requirements, and project expectations.
Identify field issues, risks, scope changes, and resource needs and communicate them.
Support project schedule adherence and efficient labor use in the field.
Perform and oversee installation, testing, and system commissioning as needed.
Train and mentor field personnel in the field.
Maintain accurate field documentation, redlines, material tracking, and progress updates.
Contribute to a positive customer experience through professionalism and responsiveness.
