Job summary

RTX is hiring a Logistics & Material Handler at the Foley, AL site. The role involves loading and unloading parts, managing material flow from production to outbound staging, and operating forklifts and cranes to move OEM inventory and containers.

You will ensure shipping paperwork is complete, validate import documents, and prepare materials for quality inspections. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is preferred; night and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years forklift experience or other industrial equipment.
• Experience with basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of inventory processes (parts flow, FIFO, JIT, Kanbans).
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload parts and finished goods from trucks and shipping vehicles.
• Plan and manage material movement from production to outbound staging.
• Operate forklift/crane for loading/unloading OEM inventory and containers.
• Maintain end-item shipping containers and perform paperwork for shipments.
• Validate import documents for inbound containerized shipments.
• Organize materials for quality inspections before shipment.
