Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Onsite Logistics Lead to develop and manage the logistics process for electrical construction projects. You will lead the onsite logistics team, coordinating materials, tools and equipment to installation task locations and supporting electrician productivity.

Responsibilities include supervising logistics staff, coordinating with Purchasing and other support processes, and handling paperwork like logs and PO records. Travel up to 100% is required.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree or can substitute education with 5-7 years of related experience.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of related logistics experience.
  • CPIM – (Certified in Production and Inventory Management - Preferred)
  • CLTD – (Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution - Preferred)
  • Travel: 75-100%
  • Work Schedule: 6 am–6 pm, Mon-Fri; nights, weekends and holidays possible.

Responsibilities

  • Manages site logistics, supervising 1-25 onsite logistics personnel and ensuring timely delivery of materials, tools and equipment to task locations.
  • Ensures electricians have all materials, tools and equipment at their locations prior to install to drive productivity.
  • Understands basic logistics processes and Lean techniques (5S).
  • Supports remobilization of electrician crews to continue value-added install.
  • Coordinates with Faith support processes (Excellerate, Purchasing) to provide materials and assemblies to the job site.
  • Completes foreman logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, tool repairs, timecards, etc.
  • Orders and tracks materials, performs cost projections.
  • Works as part of a cohesive team and supports Material Handler and Logistics Specialist roles.

The Onsite Logistics Lead role within our logistics department is responsible for developing, coordinating/managing the Logistics Process, managing the Onsite Logistics team, and coordinating the site logistics within the electrical construction industry. All job sites participate in daily safety initiatives such as safety stand-down and daily operational risk management meetings to proactively identify safe practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Associated Degree or can substitute education with 5-7 years of related experience
  • Experience: 5-7 years of related logistics experience

  • Travel: 75-100%
  • Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrates ability to manage site logistics, including 1-25 onsite logistics personnel effectively while focusing on delivering materials, tools, and equipment to the specific task locations for install.
  • Demonstrates the capability to drive electrician productivity by ensuring they have all materials, tools, and equipment at their task locations prior to install.
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of logistics processes and Lean techniques (5s).
  • Supports remobilization of electrician crews, allowing electricians to continue providing value-added install.
  • Works with Faith support processes (Excellerate, Purchasing) to provide materials and assemblies to the job site.
  • Demonstrates ability to complete basic paperwork (i.e., foreman logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, tool repairs, timecards, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Orders and tracks materials, performs cost projections.
  • Works as a member of a cohesive team and is capable and understanding of Material Handler and Logistics Specialist roles to assist logistics team members.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
