The position requires onsite work, forklift/pallet jack proficiency, and strong attention to detail. The incumbent will manage deliveries, packaging, and inventory accuracy while collaborating with Senate offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience with office equipment and basic inventory methods.
• Knowledge of inventory control, materials management, and asset management practices.
• Ability to work with warehouse equipment and logistics processes.
• Ability to learn procurement rules and Senate systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders for equipment, furniture, and supplies; renewals and cancellations of leases where applicable.
• Receive, stage, and store Senate materials; advise offices when items arrive.
• Update and query the inventory system; process invoices, POs, and contracts.
• Track and report warehouse activity and delivery status for user requests.
• Assist in packaging large items for mail distribution and coordinate deliveries.
• Ensure proper USPS packaging standards and labeling for shipments.
