Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys before, during, and after trials.

You will prepare pleadings, file documents, conduct research, and coordinate depositions to help advance complex personal injury matters and other disputes in a fast-paced environment. You will handle discovery, drafting, and trial prep while maintaining meticulous case files and clear communication with clients and counsel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred.
• Experience in personal injury, WC, premises or related areas preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with motions, discovery, and court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints and legal memoranda.
• E-file all court documents in state and federal court.
• Communicate with clients, court, counsel and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories and responses.
• Draft and serve summons and coordinate depositions.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
• Draft appellate documents and file with the court.
• Perform calendar management and organize case files.
• Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
• Assist with case settlements.
