Job summary

Intel Foundry is seeking a Lithography Tool Install Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute installation projects for advanced lithography equipment in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will partner with factory owners, suppliers, and engineering teams to ensure safe, on-schedule tool deployment that supports Intel's manufacturing ramp.

This fixed-term 24-month contract requires a technical degree with 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or related fields; PMP or Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3+ years of semiconductor manufacturing, equipment installation, construction or project management.
• Master’s degree in the same field with 1+ years in related areas is also acceptable.
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute semiconductor tool installation activities supporting factory construction and manufacturing ramp milestones.
• Collaborate with factory owners, suppliers, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure equipment, materials, and resources are available to support project schedules.
• Lead planning and coordination activities across multiple stakeholders to support successful tool installation execution.
• Monitor equipment readiness, procurement status, funding approvals, and project milestones.
• Develop and maintain installation plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Act as the primary Intel equipment owner from planning through installation and turnover.
• Resolve project constraints, elevate risks, and drive issue resolution to maintain schedule commitments.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Intel safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Support installation, relocation, startup, and qualification activities for lithography equipment and supporting systems.
• Coordinate with lithography module owners, equipment vendors, and factory stakeholders to execute installation activities.
• Drive factory readiness efforts supporting lithography tool deployment and ramp milestones.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and coordinate solutions across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
• Support successful integration of lithography equipment into manufacturing operations.
