Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on Linux kernel and device driver development experience.
• Strong foundation in computer architecture, operating systems, networking, and core CS concepts.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging abilities with curiosity to design and validate work.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, in writing and verbally.
• Experience optimizing performance across CPU, NUMA, interrupts, and threading.
• Preferred experience: upstreaming Linux kernel code; NVMe/PCIe storage concepts; collaboration with hardware vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features within the Linux kernel to support enterprise storage products.
• Maintain and patch existing code to resolve difficult problems, including customer issues.
• Optimize kernel performance within storage arrays to meet customer requirements.
• Work cross-functionally with partners and vendors at the boundary of hardware and software.
• Lead architecture and development from concept to release with high quality and resilience.
• Collaborate and mentor peers; participate in code reviews for upcoming server projects.
