Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Linux Administrator/Engineer for an onsite role in San Antonio, TX. The candidate will diagnose and resolve Linux, software, hardware, and network issues in production environments, working closely with engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Linux systems, analyzing logs, supporting reliability initiatives, and developing automation scripts using Python or Bash. Requires 3+ years of Linux admin experience and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux administration experience (RHEL and/or Ubuntu preferred).
• 1+ year of server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and the OSI model.
• Experience analyzing system and application logs.
• Python or Bash scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Linux systems, applications, networking, and server hardware issues.
• Analyze system and application logs to identify root causes.
