Job summary

System One seeks an experienced LIMS Administrator for a contract role in Oklahoma City to lead analysis, implementation, and optimization of the LIMS platform. Expect on-site work 8AM-5PM, five days a week, with close collaboration between vendors and internal teams to ensure security and data integrity.

The ideal candidate has a science degree and 4+ years in LIMS environments, strong SQL/HL7/XML/HTML skills, and hands-on experience with upgrades, reporting, and system maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field and 4+ years in medical labs or LIMS environments.
• Strong SQL, HL7, XML, HTML and related tech skills required.
• Experience with LIMS systems, data workflows, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze database and laboratory workflows to tune the LIMS.
• Implement alterations to the existing LIMS to meet evolving business needs.
• Coordinate vendor activities to ensure continued LIMS functionality and maintenance.
• Collaborate with vendor, OMES and facilities for LIMS upgrades and implementation.
• Write robust documentation and communicate LIMS issues to staff promptly.
• Implement and maintain HL7 messages and related data interfaces.
• Develop and maintain LIMS-related data workflows and reports.
