Job summary

Airswift is seeking a LSS CSU Engineer for a full-time onsite role in New Albany, OH. You will lead commissioning, startup, and testing of Life Safety Systems on a major semiconductor project, coordinating with engineering, construction, vendors, and operations teams to ensure safe, compliant turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of commissioning/startup experience or 9–12 years in related industry.
• Experience on semiconductor, data center, mission-critical, or advanced manufacturing projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of life safety, fire alarm, suppression, and gas detection systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs, control schematics, one-line diagrams, and cause-and-effect matrices.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and startup activities for Life Safety Systems.
• Perform functional and integrated testing of fire alarm, suppression, gas detection, smoke control, and emergency systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, and testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot deficiencies and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, and client teams.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, project, and client requirements.
• Maintain commissioning documentation, punch lists, and turnover packages.
