Job summary

Responsibilities

• Respond to time-sensitive requests and tasks for the Legal Litigation Team with a high level of urgency and accuracy.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of legal documentation, training materials, and job aids for new hires, summer team members, and existing team members.
• Manage, track, and distribute incoming mail, service documents, legal notices, and other litigation-related correspondence.
• Support Legal Litigation leaders and team members with special projects and department initiatives.
• Submit and monitor IT support tickets for issues affecting Legal Litigation operations.
• Open and track new legal matters in the case management system within 24 hours of receipt.
• Gather, review, and organize documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness of case management system records.
• Compile, organize, and distribute highly confidential legal document packages to outside counsel, courts, and other external parties.
• Review, scan, log, and track legal notices, pleadings, and case filings with exceptional attention to detail.
• Draft, edit, proofread, and distribute business communications and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal and factual research and perform other duties as assigned.
