Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in White Plains, NY, is seeking a Transcription & Data Entry Supervisor for an onsite role, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will oversee daily transcription operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The position requires 3–6 years as a Medical Transcriptionist, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Laboratory Information Systems.

Qualifications

• Three to six years experience as a Medical Transcriptionist.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Capable of performing all duties of Transcriptionist II.
• Understanding of test ordering, reporting, add-on tests and CPT codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the transcription department, assign work and determine priorities.
• Supervise, coach, train and manage staff performance.
• Develop policies for the Transcription department and ensure accurate billing.
• Gather data for department reports and address client issues.
• Perform transcription duties as needed to ensure timely completion of work.
