Job summary

System One seeks a Lead Manufacturing Technician in Vista, CA for an onsite contract role supporting the production team in a fast-paced FDA-regulated facility. You will supervise daily activities, train staff, and ensure tasks meet deadlines and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in FDA-regulated manufacturing, strong cGMP knowledge, and leadership experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining safety and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing facility (pharma/biotech/medical device).
• Demonstrated leadership ability to train and develop subordinates.
• Strong knowledge of cGMPs, FDA regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Supervisor in assigning daily duties to technicians and monitoring processes and personnel.
• Lead training and maintain training documentation.
• Coordinate daily operations and distribute tasks to subordinates.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and within specifications.
• Enforce SOP and CGMP during production and inspections.
• Conduct on-the-job training for procedures and equipment.
• Address employee-related issues with management and HR.
