Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a dynamic hardware engineering leader for the Data Center Network Product, Component and Quality Operations based onsite in San Jose, CA.

You will direct hardware development, supervise a midsized team, and partner with cross‑functional groups to deliver robust switch/router hardware solutions from concept through production. You will drive process improvements, ensure technical quality, manage resources and budgets, and collaborate with finance to optimize

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of related experience in electrical, manufacturing and design.
• Good understanding of PBA and PCBA manufacturing process and technology.
• Experience working on a switch/router product.
• Experience with being a people leader and managing teams.

Responsabilidades

• Directs hardware development activities including research and design for electronic parts, circuitry, and mechanical systems.
• Leads hardware team and manages daily activities.
• Identifies and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.
• Ensures technical quality throughout architecture and design process.
• Collaborates with finance to obtain financial performance and distributes summaries of resources.
• Leads hardware projects from requirements to execution and delivery.
