Job summary

You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to drive component selection, process improvements, and cost reduction while ensuring product quality and reliability throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Understanding of system hardware architectures, design concepts and engineering development practices.
• Ability to diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot down to board and component levels using various tools.
• Experience with PCB assembly processes and design-for-manufacturing considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts and circuitry for hardware systems.
• Select components based on specifications and reliability; review vendor capabilities.
• Lead design debugging, board bring-up, and failure analysis; perform DOE and EFA.
• Drive PCB material selection and supplier discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Lead design lifecycle initiatives, including NPI, sustaining phases, and cost avoidance.
