Job summary

CGI Group, LLC is seeking a General Contracting Job Superintendent to lead onsite supervision from pre-construction through closeout for projects in Georgia, including fuel station/convenience store builds, retail and office spaces.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, maintaining schedules and safety, managing costs, ensuring adequate staffing, coordinating with engineers and architects, and delivering quality work per plans while staying compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with fuel station/convenience stores, retail and office projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule onsite meetings with governmental authorities, subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain effective, direct, professional communication with subcontractors, suppliers, owners and other company employees
• Maintain project schedules, manage project costs and complete final punch list
• Ensure subcontractors and vendors personnel is sufficient for daily construction activities
• Manage onsite inventory of all material and equipment
• Complete all tasks according to assigned schedule while delivering quality finished work product according to plans and specifications
• Maintain detailed daily field project reports
• Maintain and organize a clean and safe working environment, including reviewing code and safety issues, rectifying any job site hazards
• Coordinate with civil engineers and architects to ensure that project specifications are achieved
