Job summary

Down to Earth seeks a PSUP-Project Superintendent - Construction (Operations) to lead onsite landscape construction from start to finish in Florida. You will coordinate with project managers, foremen, and crews, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in landscape construction, and adept at reading plans, directing labor, equipment, and material needs while maintaining daily reports and client communication. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape construction or related construction fields.
• Proven experience supervising field crews and construction activities.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, schedules, and specifications.
• Experience managing job site safety, quality control, and production.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day field operations for assigned landscape construction projects.
• Supervise and coordinate field crews, foremen, and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Plan and direct daily and weekly job activities, including labor, equipment, and material needs.
• Monitor job progress and productivity, identifying and addressing issues that impact schedule or quality.
• Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Conduct site inspections, daily check‑ins, and job meetings as required.
• Coordinate closely with project managers on schedules, changes, and resource needs.
• Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports and job progress updates.
• Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, and internal teams to support successful project delivery.
