Qualifications

• Completed forklift, sand blast booth, fire extinguisher, LOTO, fall protection, and Hexchromium training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and promoting safe practices.
• Assist certified Welders and Mechanics by preparing materials, tools, and work areas for welding and mechanical tasks.
• Support repair work by laying out components to help ensure precise repairs are completed efficiently.
• Observe equipment needs and help develop repair plans under supervision.
• Troubleshoot minor issues on welding machines and related tooling to improve uptime.
• Collaborate within a diverse team and support department objectives.
• Maintain productive pace to optimize billable hours and minimize waste.
• Participate in training to expand technical skills and safety knowledge.
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping to keep areas tidy and hazard-free.
• Be flexible to take on additional duties as needed.
